My name is John Harris and I am the founder of Rancho Appraisal.  My Real Estate experience began in 1988 selling homes and then made the jump to Appraising in 1991.  After working with a couple of the top Appraisal Companys of the period, I finally went out on my own in 1994 and opened the doors of Rancho Appraisal. 

We currently employ 5 full time Appraisers (including myself) and our coverage area includes all of San Diego County - from the beaches of La Jolla and Del Mar, the prestigious communities of Rancho Santa Fe and Fairbanks Ranch to the north, inland to Alpine and Julian, and south past Qualcomm stadium to the border with Mexico and all communities inbetween.

Most types of Appraisals are available - from regular Conventional forms, to HUD / FHA, Reverse Mortgages (we can usually provide Contractors for any necessary repairs), Estate Appraisals, full interior or exterior drive by - you name it. 

Customer service is one of our strong points, and you will never have trouble contacting us or getting that prior to funding condition corrected. 

We appraise most types of construction, from common on site stick built homes, modular, manufactured and mobile on permanent foundation, to the more challenging such as log homes and geodesic domes.
